July 2014/Present Oriental Harbor Marina, Oriental, NC
The following pictures were taken during our maiden voyage on the Huntress. We left Harbor Town Marina, Ft Pierce, FL (where we purchased the boat) on October 4, 2013 and arrived at our home port, Oriental, NC on October 22, 2013.

85' yacht ,"Silver Queen", docked near us. The Captain invited us aboard (I think he caught us staring) and gave us a tour. Could actually walk around in the engine room. According to the dock master, this boat had originally been owned by a US Vice President and the current owners had bought and totally renovated it. Can't believe it was built in 1969; Looks new. Now mostly used as a charter boat.
See pictures of "Silver Queen" below (Capt'n Jimmy, "Huntress", is standing far left)

"The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we achieve it."
It wasn't us that made that mess on the deck and chewed on the chairs.
I didn't do it, I was asleep.

"Most of the problems in life are because we act without thinking or we keep thinking without acting."
"You can't live a positive life with a negative mind."
'Reminded of words from the song "Moon River"...
"Two drifters off to see the world, there's such a lot of world to see...we're after the same rainbow's end...waiting round the bend"...
